This week marked the start of the 60th Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) summit which this year, is being held in Cape Town, South Africa. LRQA Chief Operating Officer, Paul Graaf and LRQA Vice President Food and Beverage, Vincent Doumeizel are representing LRQA at the conference. LRQA is a member of the Lloyd’s Register group.
Following a week of meetings, ISO/PC 283 has confirmed that ISO 45001 will move to a second Draft International Standard (DIS2) stage and the anticipated timeline currently expects DIS2 to be available by early 2017.
This move enhances leading position in the food and beverage industry and opens other markets for LR through new technologies to deliver greater supplier visibility and risk management at a global level
To mark World Accreditation Day, which took place on 9 June this year, LRQA’s Director of Service Innovation & Governance, Denis Ives attended the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) Conference in The Hague as a representative of LRQA and the Independent International Organisation for Certification (IIOC).
