Following the news in September that the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) awarded accreditation to LRQA for the new Lead Auditor Transition courses, LRQA has now added the Internal QMS Auditor course to the list of accredited training courses which meet the revision requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 9000:2015 and IRCA’s own course criteria.
The Internal QMS Auditor course is designed for those new to auditing and looking to develop their skills in line with ISO 9001:2015.
Based upon a case study, that has been developed to accommodate the new requirements of ISO 9001:2015, which includes organisational context and the application of a risk-based approach, the course is designed for delegates to learn how to carry out first party audits with focus on the evaluation of QMS conformity and effectiveness.
LRQA’s Internal QMS Auditor course is one of the first to be registered with IRCA (course number A17598) and is available globally.
Commenting on the award by IRCA, Dave Sherring, LRQA External Training Capability Development Manager said, “This newly revised Internal QMS Auditor course complements our existing auditor training capabilities and allows those who may be new to auditing the chance to understand how to carry out internal audits of a QMS based on ISO 9001:2015 under the guidance of our expert trainers. We know that these courses are important for our clients and their own management systems, accreditation by IRCA confirms our commitment to delivering world-class services.”
To support organisations worldwide following the publication of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 on 15 September, LRQA offers a range of assessment services as well public and in-house training courses, all aimed at helping to ensure a smooth transition to the new standards.
