On 24 March, LRQA Taiwan was invited to attend the ‘APEC HLPD (high level policy dialogue) on Resilient SME’s for Better Global Supply Chains’ in the 38th SMEWG at Taichung, Taiwan. Over 120 delegates from Asia, (including Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore) and the USA shared their Business Continuity Planning and Management experiences and programmes. This is the 2nd year that LRQA Taiwan was invited to participate in the APEC SME programme since 2012.
Chris Cheung, Vice-President, LRQA Greater China, presented on how LRQA, through our services and Business Assurance approach are helping clients reduce risks and improve their performance. The well received presentation highlighted the benefits of LRQA’s Business Assurance methodology and the importance of linking top management and stakeholder expectations.
